Swedavia, the public company operating airports in Sweden announced today the return of United Airlines’ daily nonstop seasonal flight connection between Stockholm Arlanda Airport and New York/Newark hub beginning May 28, 2023. The airline returns to the Swedish capital for the first time since 2019, having previously operated the route for 14 years starting in 2005.
The route will operate until the end of September 2023 which is suitable with enjoying summer holidays in Stockholm and Sweden for events like June 6, Sweden’s National Day, Midsommar celebrations around 20th of June or festivals and festivities like the Kräftskivor, the crayfish parties starting in the middle of August.

United’s service from Stockholm to New York/Newark will be operated with Boeing 757-200 aircraft, featuring a total of 169 seats – 16 flat-bed seats in United PolarisSM business class and 153 in economy, including 45 Economy PlusSM seats with added legroom and increased personal space.
